Savannah, GA. The most evil and haunted house in Savannah. The guide told people to not even walk up the steps. The Benjamin J. Wilson House was built in 1868. Folklore reveals a house of death, murder and suicide. It is said to be one of the most haunted houses in Savannah. It is said to have paranormal activity and a negative emotion emanating from the house. Located at 432 Abercorn Street across from the Calhoun Square. There are no tours offered through the house but there is no need. Simply exploring the exterior was intriguing enough. Somehow we did see beauty in this Greek Revival structure, but it was shadowed by a deep darkness of wonder of what we had read happened there. Haunted or not we really don't know. But we do know it will leave an everlasting impression and desire to learn more. Through this obsession we have spent many hours after our visit researching the house and have found little information to prove any of the legends factual. Guess you will have to decide yourself.
